Guidance on new risk assessment requirements has been published by FETA.

A review of the CLP (Classification Labelling and Packaging) Regulations has resulted in all refrigerants being classified as hazardous and requiring full DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulation) risk assessments to be carried out on all projects using refrigerants.

The coolest day of the year takes centre stage during the Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution Show, 25 and 26 June at the East of England showground in, Peterborough.

Raising awareness of the huge impact refrigeration, in one form or another, has on modern life to help attract the best candidates into the sector. The food chain, medicines, data centres, smartphones, internet, indoor air quality, sustainable heating methods – all depend on some form of refrigeration to work effectively.
